Olympic Games Selection Policy Update

Athletics New Zealand have have made an amendment to the selection policy for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

The initial team announcement will now be made on Sunday 25th March at the National Track & Field Championships.

2012 World Race Walking Cup Selection Policy

Athletics New Zealand has released the selection policy for the 2012 World Race Walking Cup.

The selection policy can be found here.

The event will be held in Saransk, Russia on 12-13 May 2012.

Athletes wishing to be considered for selection should complete an Expression of Interest Form.

Trans Tasman Walks International Final Selections

The Athletics New Zealand selectors have made their final selections for the team to travel to Trans Tasman Walks International in Hobart on the 25th February.

 

Athletics New Zealand are pleased to announce that Australian based Scott Nelson (Senior Men) will complete the team that will travel to Hobart.

New Level 4 Carding Standards

The new standards for U20 athletes to be carded as a level 4 have been released.

Trans Tasman Walks International – Updated Initial Selections

The selectors have further considered their initial selections and are pleased to announce the addition of Michael Parker (Senior Men) and Lesley Cantwell (Senior Women) to the team.

2011/12 New Zealand & Australian Domestic Season

Athletics New Zealand has received initial information regarding the upcoming New Zealand and Australian domestic season. 

We now have a full list of the meetings that will be taking place across the two countries and the event organisers have started to confirm what events will be taking place at each of these meetings. An event matrix for for the season has been put together and will continue to be updated as we hear more information from event organisers.
