Based on potential to podium: (1-4) potential, (5-9) qualifier, (10) top 25, (15) top 16, (20) top 8. Score will incorporate progression of world standards in the event. 1-20
Consistency of performances High scores reflect consistent performances at or close to SB. Score is based on the 4 best performances of the season. 1-5
Performance progression Based on hard facts (SBs, placings, etc...) wherever possible, using as many years data as available. 1-5
Commitment to the program Is the athlete willing and able to commit sufficiently to the programme to ensure that our investment will result in improved performances. 1-5
Competition placing Based on place in the major competition(s) of that year. (1-5) top 30, (6) top 25, (10) top 16, (15) top 8, (20) top 3. 1-20

Physical resilience Reflects the fragility or ‘injury proneness’ of the athlete. 1-5
